Caversham Wildlife park is an easy 20 minutre drive from Perth and is home to over 200 species of Wildlife.
Wildlife parks play an important role in educating visitors to the park. By allowing interaction with the animals, visitors learn more about the animals and what they like and don’t like.
One of the most popular enclosures at the park is the Kangaroo enclosure, allowing you to walk amongst the many species of Kangaroos being cared for at the park.
Kangaroos are marsupials, which means they raise their young in their pouch and marsupials evolve on the continent and are not found in many other places on the continent.
Kangaroos are really beautiful animals, having evolved to be able to move through the tall grass and scrub quickly.
The park has everything from Reptiles to birds of prey and some endangered species that are not only educating the public but playing a role in rehabilitation and breeding programs.
