- Whale shark season typically starts in mid-March and runs until mid to late October, with the peak period for sightings being from April to August. While the majority of whale sharks leave by November, research suggests that about 20% of them remain in the Ningaloo region throughout the year, offering a chance to spot them even outside the peak season.

- Upon boarding the 17-meter vessel, which will be your comfortable home base for the day, you will be introduced to the highly qualified crew, who have extensive marine experience. You will be fitted with quality wetsuits and snorkel equipment, and a comprehensive vessel safety briefing will be provided.
- A short cruise through the lagoon kicks off the adventure with an introductory snorkel on the beautiful inner Ningaloo Reef. Here, you may see turtles, stingrays, reef sharks, octopus, and a myriad of colourful fish among the coral.
- During the drive, enjoy an informative commentary on local points of interest, including the Cape Range National Park. The day’s program is also outlined to help you feel relaxed and informed.
- After the morning snorkel, a dedicated spotter plane locates the first whale shark of the day. The aim is to give customers as much in-water time with the whale sharks as possible, with multiple swims throughout the day.
- Throughout the day, enjoy a scrumptious morning tea, a delicious buffet lunch, and afternoon tea, paired with local beverages. If time permits, the day may conclude with another reef snorkel on Ningaloo, followed by a celebratory beer or champagne to toast a wonderful day on the water.
