Hot Air Ballooning has been enchanting travellers for hundreds of years, long before the Wright Brothers were even born, and in Northam, the WA Windward Balloon Adventures has been sharing that magic for three decades.

• The ride is very gentle, almost as if you’ve never left the ground.
• On the morning ride, just after sunrise, you start to see the colours immerge upon the farmlands and winding streams below, and if you time your flight right in wildflower season, you might be able to catch the Canola flower.
• The silence and stillness of the ride makes it very peaceful, and to get away from technology for a few hours makes it the perfect escape, it also gives you a unique perspective on what the area has to offer.
• Flights only operate in the cooler months between April and Late November, when the Avon Valley provides the perfect pocket of crisp air needed for ballooning.
