  • York is home to several annual festivals, including an agricultural show, a motorcycle festival, and the York Festival.
  • The York Festival runs for 3 weekends in September. This annual arts and culture festival features several activities perfect for the whole family, such as; open circus workshops – arts and crafts and the cutest animals.
  • There are several quirky stores around the town, many housed in beautiful heritage buildings.
  • Make sure you check out Dinsdale’s Shoe Emporium, Barclay Books, housed within the old Fire Station, and the sock factory.
  • With more than 25 years of experience, the Sock Factory continues to invest in the latest technology to continue producing a high-quality range of merchandise.
  • The Sock factory is a WA-owned and operated store that hosts sock-making demonstrations and is home to an extensive range of socks, hats and UGG boots.
