  • Winter in Western Australia’s Swan Valley is a beautiful time of year. On the short drive out here green fields will flank you, and there are plenty of attractions to enjoy in all their glory, in any weather.
  • Caversham Wildlife Park, with its cuddly Aussie favourites is a must visit, for international guests to Australia’s West. It is also a great place for locals to share with family and friends.
  • During winter, Caversham Wildlife Park is still a hive of activity. And in many cases, like with the famous Caversham Kangaroos, the animals are more interactive in the cooler months.
  • The park’s timetable of educational and entertaining shows is the same come rain, hail or shine.
  • The penguins here are our Aussie Penguins, and love our warmer waters at all times of year. Currently there are 7 little penguins in the park.
  • The park is big on conservation programs. They are working with the Department of Parks and Wildlife, Penguin Island and Perth Zoo to create an insurance population of the little penguin.
  • You can see the penguins fed daily at midday and 4pm.
  • There is so much to learn about Aussie wildlife, including farmyard animals while you are here at Caversham Wildlife Park.
  • Visit on an off peak day for easier access around the park and make it part of your next day out with friends and family.
