Title: Gascoyne Murchison Outback Pathways
Broadcast: 13th May 2018
Presenter: Trevor Cochrane
One of WA’s best kept driving secrets is heading outback and visiting The Gascoyne Murchison. Starting at Geraldton and heads all the way to Exmouth.
- During this drive, you go through the Colseam National Park. You will find a sea of colour if you travel between the months of July and October.
- The iconic wreath flower is featured during this drive, as well as the tiny town of Pindar.
- There are three major pathways, the first the Minors Pathway, second the Kingsford Smith and finally the Wool Wagon.
- Further down the road is MT Augustus, Australia’s largest rock, nearly 600 million years old.
