Trevor and the team have been taking in the delights of the Pilbara all this week. Once you have taken in the beauty of the natural surroundings of the area, it’s important to have some great accommodation to put your feet up and get ready for the next day. Trevor checks out three hotels that will suit any traveller’s budget.

• If you’re travelling on a basic budget then the Dampier Mermaid hotel is the go. It’s got all the basics and the price goes with that too. It is pretty much in the heart of Dampier and if you are looking for a clean comfortable stay then this is the place to go.
• If your looking for a base with food and comfortable accommodation that's not in the heart of town try Velocity Village just out of Karratha town site. It's a mid range price making it good for those on a budget.
• And if you want to do in absolute luxury.. yes the Pilbara does that too..Trevor recommends you jump in the car and head to beautiful Point Sampson. Not only is it a stunning spot but you will find the Point Sampson Resort, a brilliantly landscaped resort in the heart of the township with super comfortable rooms including the Spa Suite which has a super comfortable bed, your own poolside balcony and a massive flat screen TV.
