Caty goes Snorkeling in the Ningaloo Reef.
- The Ningaloo Reef that fringes the Ningaloo Coast is 260 kilometres and is Australia’s largest fringing coral reef.
- The word ‘Ningaloo’ comes from the Aboriginal Wajarri language, meaning, “High land jutting into the sea”.
- Although famous for its whale sharks, the reef is rich in coral and a diversity of marine life. Supporting over 500 species of fish, 300 species of coral, 600 species of molluscs and other marine invertabrates.
