Chrissy gets a tour of all the wildlife wonders from the experts at Whiteman Park.

  • Whiteman Park spans over 3,700 hectares and is located approximately 25 kilometres northeast of Perth's city centre, making it a large green space for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
  • Whiteman Park has a variety of natural environments, including wetlands, woodlands, and grasslands. The park is home to numerous bird species, kangaroos, and other native wildlife, offering plenty of opportunities for nature walks and wildlife spotting.
  • One of the transport heritage attractions in Whiteman Park is the Perth Electric Tramway Society, where visitors can take a ride on restored trams from the early 20th century. The park is also home to the Bennett Brook Railway, which displays historic trains and railway artifacts.
  • The park offers a wide range of activities, from walking and cycling trails to picnic areas and playgrounds. Visitors can enjoy the expansive green spaces for outdoor sports or simply relax in a natural setting.
  • Whiteman Park has several family-friendly attractions, including Caversham Wildlife Park, where you can see koalas, kangaroos, and other native animals up close, and Pia's Place Nature Playspace, a large play area for children of all abilities.
