Trevor's got an eye for outback fashion at the Enchanted Colours runway event in Pardoo.
- Kirrikin, a 100% Aboriginal-owned company, creates products that capture the essence of Australia and embody the spirit and creativity of Indigenous art. With a keen eye for emerging artists, Kirrikin carefully curates designs that transition seamlessly from canvas to fabric, supporting Aboriginal communities with every purchase.
- In June 2024 Pardoo Wagyu, Larissa Brown, and Kirrikin collaborated and hosted a runway event at Pardoo Homestead, where Larissa Brown’s artwork was showcased on garments produced by Kirrikin.
- The clothing for this event were designed by Amanda, along with collaborating with Indigenous designer, Keira Gentle, featuring artwork from local Ngarla artist, Larissa Brown.
- Larissa Brown, a proud Ngarla and Kariyarra person, launched her latest artwork at this fashion runway event. Larissa’s artwork tells stories of her local flora, including the beautiful Mulla Mulla flower and the Mangrove leaf design, both of which were prominently featured in the designs.
- The Ngarla people are the traditional owners of the land covering the De Grey and Pardoo pastoral stations, spanning approximately 4,655 square kilometers.
- Following the parade, an informal lunch featuring award-winning Pardoo Wagyu and local bushfoods was served, with the boss himself handing out culinary delights.
