Chrissy shows us that Bold Park is a great place for a stroll or picnic, whether it's hot or cold.
- Accessible around the clock this popular 437-hectare park, situated just 8 km from the city, serves as a peaceful getaway regardless of weather conditions and welcomes a variety of activities, ranging from brisk walks to leisurely picnics, creating a flexible and welcoming ambiance.
- With 15 km of impeccably maintained and clearly marked winding trails, Bold Park features ten lookouts that provide diverse perspectives and breathtaking views of the surroundings, as well as walking trails that imitate a genuine bush experience with minimal facilities.
- Friends of Bold Park arranges complimentary tours, offering comprehensive perspectives on the park's extensive history, Noongar history, and its classification as a Class A reserve in 1980; fuelled by a deep passion, the volunteers also strive to establish the park as a globally acknowledged urban wilderness, evident in their dedicated endeavours to safeguard and enlighten visitors about the park's heritage.
- At an elevation of 85 meters above sea level, Reabold Hill represents the park's highest natural peak and features a boardwalk that guides visitors to panoramic 365-degree vistas of Perth, the Indian Ocean, Rottnest Island, Kings Park, and glimpses of the Swan River.
- The park's character gains historical significance from limestone quarrying, further accentuated by the Quarry Amphitheatre, which ingeniously employs quarry walls for acoustic benefits and shelter.
