  • The flight heads out over the town of Karratha, and onto the Dampier Archipelago. The rich red colour that contrasts so brilliantly with the blue coastline is due to the presence of iron in the rock.

  • From the tour, you can see many turtles, which there are four species of, sharks, manta rays, and even dugongs.
  • HeliSpirit operate just across from the visitor centre, which should be your first spot for info to navigate the Pilbara.
  • HeliSpirit is a Western Australian helicopter tourism operator specialising in scenic flights, aerial safaris and adventure experiences across some of Australia's most remote landscapes.
  • The company operates throughout the Kimberley, Pilbara and Ningaloo regions, providing access to locations that are difficult to reach by road.
