  • The Pemberton Visitor Centre provides free maps, brochures, and expert local advice on attractions, trails, tours and events throughout the Pemberton and Southern Forests region helping visitors plan hikes, drives, waterfalls visits, tree climbs, winery stops and more.
  • The Visitor Centre also offers booking services for local experiences (like tour operators and accommodation), and showcases information on seasonal highlights and conditions, making it a useful first stop when arriving in town.
  • Will visits the Sothern Forrest Chocolate company which produces handcrafted chocolates on-site in Pemberton, using local Southern Forests ingredients where possible, including fruits and native flavours.
  • At the factory, visitors can purchase chocolates directly from the factory shop and sample a variety of products, making it a popular stop for travellers exploring the Southern Forests region.
  • Toni & Graeme Pemberton Discovery Tours offer 4WD guided tours such as the Beach & Forest Eco Adventure, taking visitors through majestic old-growth karri forests, the Yeagarup dune system, and out to the wild Southern Ocean coastline experiences you generally can’t access on your own without a 4WD vehicle.
  • Founded and operated by Toni and Graeme Dearle since 2000, the tours are led by highly knowledgeable local guides (including award-winning guide Graeme Dearle), who share insights into the region’s ecology, history and hidden gems while ensuring a personalised, small-group experience.
  • The Pemberton Tramway offers a classic timber forest tramway ride through tall karri forests on vintage locomotives and carriages, providing a relaxed, nostalgic way to enjoy the region’s towering trees and natural scenery.
  • Tourists can choose from a variety of experiences including Forest Ranger rides, Lunch Trams, Wine & Timber Trams and seasonal specials many incorporating stops for scenic views, talks, or meals along the route.
